Frontier Precision and Tabula are excited to be working together to offer a more complete tracking and reporting solution for managing Invasive Plants activities (Weed, Aquatics, Lake Management) and Mosquito Control activities (aerial, drone, truck, backpack, UTV treatment; field larviciding and surveillance, service requests, public communication, mapping and reporting). See the
Press Release.

FieldSeeker has a basic Track Me function, but it relies on the field operator to start and stop the software recording, and it does not track where a sprayer was on or off. While that can be useful for seeing where a field tech went as they did their work, customers need more. This is why we chose to partner with Tabula.
Tabula has live tracking, proof of application (POA), job management, and safety features relevant to the job. Their spray trackers work with any sprayer that has power and an on/off signal, including aerial, drone, truck, UTV, and backpack sprayers. Tabula's hardware and software solutions work together to provide the kind of treatment tracking that customers need, including live treatment in progress, visible between crew members and supervisors and job managers.
FieldSeeker GIS provides the back-end functionality of Esri ArcGIS Online, reporting, data management, contracts and billing, and all the other activities that Tabula does not record. Data is exchanged between FieldSeeker and Tabula via API calls. FieldSeeker can send jobs and prescriptions (Proposed Treatment Areas) to Tabula directly, or Tabula users can create a job in the field (for example, with a backpack sprayer the job starts when the sprayer is turned on and begins spraying). FieldSeeker retrieves the completed jobs and their treatment information and puts them into the ArcGIS Online hosted feature service (GIS database), where they can be used along with all other FieldSeeker GIS data for reporting, mapping, analysis, and data management.
Mosquito Control
Mosquito Control Tabula Integration
The Mosquito Control integration with Tabula is similar. The difference is that FieldSeeker Windows ULV is used to record the truck spray proof of application. However, Tabula brings incredible value to Mosquito Control, because Tabula spray trackers work with any sprayer that has power and an on/off signal, including aerial, drone, truck, UTV, and backpack sprayers. This means it is possible to add a live tracker to a spray truck running FieldSeeker ULV Mobile with a Clarke SmartFlow, Azelis Monitor, London Fogger, or other supported sprayer, so that crew members and job managers can view live treatment in progress and coordinate activities with each other or with crews using other spray equipment (drones, aircraft, backpacks, UTVs, etc.). This also gives us a standard, consistent, supported way to add tracking and job management to roadside ditch sprayers, granular broadcasters, A1 Misters, Buffalo Turbines etc.
FieldSeeker GIS for Mosquito Control includes online and offline workflows for:
- Larviciding Inspection, Treatment, Larval Samples, Proposed Treatment Areas (Site Visit)
- Storm Drain Treatment
- Adult Surveillance (Mosquito Trapping, Pooling, Disease Testing; Landing Counts)
- Blood, Tissue and Specimen Sampling (dead birds, Sentinel chicken flocks, etc.)
- Service Requests
- Restricted Areas and Warnings
- Barrier Treatment and ULV Treatment (sketch on map, or live tracking and collection)
- Product Inventory and On-Truck Inventory
- Reporting, Data Review, Data Management, Data Import / Export
- Wetlands Management
- TrapResults and LarvalResults
- Field Scouting
- QA Inspection
- Aerial Data Import
- VectorSurv Integration
- Esri Dashboard Integration
- Public Notification App Integration
- Email Notifications Integration
FieldSeeker Windows ULV connects directly to supported sprayers, as mentioned above. Tabula integrates with any other sprayer and provides live tracking. It's a perfect way to automate more of your operations and protect yourself from liability.
